Register at Chikka without spending Php 2.50

Sunday, August 31st, 2008

*It’s actually registering your e-mail address instead of your mobile number.

Go to chikka website (http://www.chikka.com)You’ll see this:

Enter in a valid e-mail address.

Important: Don’t put anything in Mobile Number box..

Click REGISTER

Then you’ll see:

Check then your e-mail address for the chikka account details. Sometimes you’ll find it inside the Spam folder instead of the Inbox.  In the e-mail, you can find your chikka account id and your password. You can now log in and change your password. You can use your e-mail address as a substitute for your chikka account id.

Good Tip, though you would be creating a PC-Only Account. Had you entered your Mobile Number, you would receive a Unified Account (tagged to your mobile number).

Unified accounts have richer features (like Mobile Forwarding for both Chikka and Yahoo/MSN/Gtalk/ICQ/AOL messages.

ricecooker is correct.. entering a mobile number is better… you’ll be able to receive messages on you mobile phone if offline (no pc). Hey, it’s just PhP2.50!
